A bit about me.


(But I really want it to be about you).


For those of you who don't know me (yet), I'd like to welcome you and hope you will enjoy reading, watching, engaging and getting to know me and the rest of my tribe here. I don't generally like talking (writing??) about myself, but I guess I need to do that for a bio... so here goes.


I am a fitness expert with nearly 20 years of experience in the industry, a pilates studio owner (Be Fit Studio) and instructor, and the director of group fitness at a big health club on Cape Cod. I’m a group exercise instructor of almost any class you can think of (except Step or Spinning, and now I also have launched my own online training and LIVE group classes.

I am a wife to a gorgeous and creative hunk of a renaissance man, a mom to two fully-grown and still finding their respective paths adult human beings and a dog-obsessed fur mama to one Jedi Edelman. My favorite things to do – when I am not exercising or teaching – are dancing, theater, paddle boarding with Jedi, drinking red wine, (when it’s not vodka) and eating... usually not all at the same time! Also, I enjoy a well placed swear word. Ok, sometimes it doesn’t have to be well placed, just well executed. ;-)

I grew up on Cape Cod working in my family-owned general store and I always thought that was my path – to become a small business owner. Little did I know how that “path” would shift, change and loop around until I found the one for me! In 2005 our family business fell victim to the financial crises and I had to reevaluate what I would be doing for the rest of my life. I knew I couldn’t go back to working for someone else's dream, so I had to discover my own.

I’ve spent my entire adult life on Cape Cod making a living by running my own businesses, with the occasional side hustle (woop woop for the side hustle!). It has never been easy, but it has always been worth it. So cliché, but hey, it fits!

Over the course of my many years of working in the fitness industry, I have learned valuable lessons on the best techniques for teaching, cueing and executing actions. I am passionate about teaching each and every one of you how to be the best YOU can be. I want you to live your best, healthiest, happiest life – one class/session/day at a time. Nobody’s life is perfect (including mine!). We are all juggling our own form of beautiful chaos and I want to help you find your imperfect circle of balance.
So whether it be exercise, diet, schedule, recreation or relationships - I can relate, and I can't wait to walk the path with you.
I hope these pages will become a hub of all things fitness, positivity, and support. I want to help you feel excited each and every morning you wake up and have something to look forward to every day. As you can probably tell, I do not want this to be about me. It is about you.
